Three reasons how it has changed is today the music industry now focuses on looks and appearance. They find people who have a nice look to them and sell them to the general public. To sell any artist or band, they create this hook. It suckers in the audience by the musicians style or how they act. You may be a good song writer and appeal to some but if you don't have the looks you won't make it in the music industry. Lastly the technology has improved majorly, they can make any one a singer nowadays by editing their voices to sound good even if they are band.
3.Why is the 1960s considered the most important decade for Rock and Roll? -2 marks
The 1960s is the most important decade because this is when the Rise of Black Music began. A record company run by black people began selling records to white and black audiences. This impacted and changed how the music industry worked.

He revealed something new and strange in the industry, Sex Appeal. His dancing, his looks and his whole vibe woke up something in the young. He seemed to turn them on and they didn't even know what to do with this feeling. And girls in the 50s were not use to this, there was no sex, no dirty thoughts or lust in their lives.

Michael Jackson was the first black artist to be shown on MTV and the reason for this was because he came out with a song called 'Billie Jean'. It blew up majorly and they had to play it.

They went down to Congo Square to relax. Sundays was their day off and they created this dance called 'The Cakewalk', it mocked wealthy white people who could afford cake.

Rap was appealing to white kids because it was combing rap and rock together. It was powerful and hardcore.

A musician that is considered pop is Justin Bieber. He has a nice calm voice, he appeals to both young and older girls because of his looks. He is very marketable and popular in the world today.
